Feeling of something stucked in throat
I have been suffering from IBS whole my life. Ibs was diagnosed in 2011 after a colonoscopy. Last year endoscopy was also done to rule out celiac. It was just ibs. I am a smoker and usually smoke 10 cigs a day. I have also been suffering from mild anxiety since my father passed away 6 years ago. For last couple of weeks i have been feeling this strange sensation that something is touching my throat at larynx area. And excessive mucus is down there in throat. I am taking rabeprazole domperidone caps for 8 days now but of no use. I suffer from GERD occasionally bit it goes away in a day or two. Rarely get heartburn though it might be silent reflux. Do i have to worry about esophageal cancer or any other throat cancer ? I am male 31 year old

You seem to be suffering from reflux laryngopharyngitis which is type of acidity related disorder. You may need to take anti reflux medications for few weeks for long term benefits. Smoking, sleeplessness and stress increases this problem and higher doses of medication may be required. It is unlikely to be malignancy but there is no harm in getting a endoscopy done
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required.
