Nausea and pain abdomen can persist for 2-3 weeks in typhoid. A part of this can also be due to the antibiotic course the child received in addition to the disease itself.
Next Steps
1. Give high fibre diet.
2. Avoid fast food
3. Can give probiotics, bifilac for a week
4. Lanzol junior for 7 days
5 SYP cyclopam in case of abdominal pain
6. Give plenty of fluids

Hello ma’am/sir,
After typhoid and urine infection treatment, children commonly feel weakness, occasional nausea and headache for a few weeks. This is normal post-infection recovery phase.
Right now please ensure:
• good hydration
• light homemade food
• proper sleep and rest
If he is otherwise active between episodes, it is reassuring.
However, if fever comes back, vomiting increases, child becomes dull, or symptoms are getting worse — he should be examined in person.
If u have further questions u can consult me...i will be happy to help u out
Nausea in typhoid lasts for more than 2weeks
