Asked for Male, 40 Years

My FBS is 97 PPBS 135 after 2 hrs of small breakfast , 2 Teas. Pls suggest accurate Sugar diagnostic test . My values are normal or not? Pls suggest. Regards.

The gold standard diagnostic test for diabetes/ prediabetes is HBA1C . This reflects average glucose control for past 3 months. Your fasting sugars are normal, and 2 hrs post breakfast sugars are normal. However, farting and post breakfast values provide snapshot of your sugars for the day, they are reliable than HBA1C to diagnose diabetes
