Fatty liver
I was feeling pain on my liver side so i went for ultrasound, it showed grade 1-2 fatty liver changes. So i went for fibroscan, it says CAP 174 and KPA 3.3 Doctor who did fibroscan said no fatty liver. Whose report should I consider? I do feel i have gas and mild constipation running because I'm taking ferrous ascorbate supplement for iron. Can this be the cause of pain randomly? Why there is a difference in ultrasound and fibroscan?

USG is subjective and depends on observer while Fibroscan is objective . Fibro scan is considered better than USG if its done properly. there are few points worth mentioning 1. Fibro scan should be done in fasting 2. IQR value should be lower than 10% (it increases accuracy). if both the prerequisites are fulfilled than its more accurate than USG. Yes ,oral iron can cause symptoms of gastritis .
Next Steps
1. Check IQR in fibroscan.
