Your ALT and AST are both above the usual lab range, and a cholesterol of 247 with LDL near 169 is high. Together these usually go along with fatty liver, which often raises liver enzymes and cholesterol at the same time. The good news is this combination generally improves well with weight loss, regular exercise and cutting back on fried and sugary food.
Next Steps
A liver ultrasound, if you haven't had one recently, plus a repeat lipid and liver panel in 2 to 3 months, will show whether these steps are working. Please see a physician or hepatologist to go over the full picture and decide if a cholesterol-lowering medicine is needed.
Health Tips
Go in sooner if you notice yellowing of the eyes, dark urine, or pain in the upper right side of your abdomen.
