Hi i am 29 year old female ( overweight : 97 Kgs weight for 168 cms height) and my fasting sugar had consistently been high without medicine (ranging between 125-140) I started having Glycomet SR 500 - 1 tablet daily after dinner. Initially it helped lower sugar (fasting came 110) but after few weeks I see no reduction now (fasting is still 138) I am careful of my diet and exercise and slowly reducing weight too but no improvement in last few weeks in Fasting sugar after this medicine PP sugar comes around 159 What to do ?

Hello, your Fasting sugar persistently above targets suggest the medicine may not be enough for u at present because diabetes is progressive disease..!! But as I can see u wt is 97 and BMI is high. It will be a very beneficial if u reduce your weight at least 5 to 10 kg slowly with proper diet and exercise, it will help in reducing your insulin resistance and dose requirement may reduce.. Monitor FBS and PLBS with Hb1Ac.
Health Tips
In diet reduce at least 500 kcl from existing and engage in physical exercise at least 30 min day
