Fasting blood sugar
Hi, Is the fasting blood sugar reading of 128.3 for a regular diabetic considered ok? This is for my 65 year old mother. Regards Shubha

Fasting 128 for 65 Yr old is fair.. But for getting more elaborate idea of sugar get FBS, PLBS and Hb1Ac..

For a diabetic the target sugars should be fasting sugars: 120 post meal 2 hrs: 140-180 and HBA1c that is 3 months average sugars 7%
