Fasting blood sugar
Hello sir I was diagnosed with abdominal tuberculosis last month and my sister checked my blood sugar. From last 7 days my blood sugar fasting is from 60-70 But today is 49 After food blood sugar levels is 90-105. I want to know is it normal because I heard blood sugar levels between 90-120.

Hii.. Blood sugar of 49 even on glucometer is really worrisome... As u are already undergoing treatment for abdominal TB need to rule out conditions which cause hypoglycemia like adrenal insufficiency and drug interactions..!! Consult endocrinologist to get to know which further test.. U can do it online nowadays

These levels are low. Since you have abdominal TB, chances of hormonal conditions causing low sugars shoud be ruled out ( adrenal deficiency). Consult an endocrinologist

Ur normal sugars FBS is 120 but to call it hypoglycaemia it should b less than 70. And if u have no other symptoms suggestive of hypoglycaemia nothing to worry. Usually need lab reports of less that 70 has more value.
