Is the FNAC test accurate to detect if it is tuberculosis or not from the back  side of the neck  lump left side

FNAC accuracy is less than biopsy , but if it shows tb positive then treatment needed

It has more sensitivity to do genexpert from FNAC sample. Sometimes FNAC samples can be inadequate in which case you might have to repeat or go for excision biopsy

Nothing is 100% accurate, but it is Less invasive technique to rule out tuberculosis from other diseases.If result is not desirable or sample is not good. Your doctor may plan for excision biopsy also
