After rct pain may be due to some infection or occlusion problem. If opposite teeth is toching so much.Take one week proper antibiotic with antiinflammatory and check occlusion if needed then grind occlusion surface as needed .If still persist then consult endodontist.

Welcome to Practo pain after root canal treatment may be due to fractures or cracks in the root I advise you to to take an xray of that teeth and the verify the condition of the teeth and the root canal consult me for the details thank you.
Hello
If the pain is still persisting in the tooth that indicates there might be some underlying infection that needs to be rectified. You can upload the x-ray so that it is clear and a better diagnosis can be made.
As far as the long-term prognosis is concerned it is not at all related to cancer as such. The worst that can happen is that if infection is too much we might have to remove the tooth. So do not worry it’s not at all cancerous but yes it needs a treatment definitely
