My father is 80 years old and has been suffering from continuous itching on his face, especially on the outer part of his nose. His hands also itch, while his chest, stomach, and back itch occasionally. The entire neck and ears are not affected.
He takes the following medicines daily:
Dytor 10 mg once daily (diurects)
Concor 2.5 (diurects)
Syndopa Plus
Rosagold 10 mg
Rapilif D 8 mg
Nikoran 5 mg
Lonazep 0.5
His
sugar levels are - 102/105 pp and fast respectively.
Thyroid - T3 and T4 are normal, TSG is higher at 6.74.
Hemoglobin - 10.3
My father had Allegra 180 and Caladryl lotion, but it did not help him.
Locally, a dermatologist suggested Bilastine 20 mg, coconut oil, and Atarax lotion. My father used these for two days, but there was no relief.
There is no fever, weakness, rash, redness, or heat rash (ghamori).
What could be the possible cause of this itching? Kft and
LFT reports are attached.
