You are probably experiencing dry eye symptoms. If you use computers or similar devices for long hours, it could then be called computer vision syndrome. Relief is usually obtained by taking frequent short breaks from computer work, consuming adequate water (at least 2 to 3 litres per day), getting good sleep, etc. Lubricant eye drops (available over the counter) do give some relief.
