Eye swelling
My dog is facing swelling in his right eye from today morning, having some little watery discharge too from that eye and unable to open his eye properly . What can I do

Hello,
Swelling, watery discharge nd difficulty opening the eye could be due to several causes such as eye infection, injury, foreign body (like dust or grass, fomites), allergic reaction, or even insect bite.
What you can do immediately:
Don't attempt to touch or wash the eye without vet guidance, as this could worsen the irritation. Prevent your dog from rubbing or scratching the eye to avoid further injury. Pls take your dog to a vet asap. The vet will examine the eye closely nd may prescribe appropriate drops or ointment depending on the cause. Timely treatment is important to prevent complications or vision damage.
