Myopia is very common nowadays among children due to increased indoor activities and computer (near work) for longer duration. 1. For the lifestyle modification part kindly allow and encourage outdoor activities everyday. 2. Kindly see an ophthalmologist nearby and get a cycloplegic refraction done for your son. 3. For myopia you have to make myopic glasses of full correction and the child should wear glasses all the time except during sleeping and bathing. 4. Checkup for glasses should be done every 3-6 months duration and since myopia has increased from -0.5 to -2.75D a dilated retina examination should also be done.
