Eye redness
Consulted paediatric ophthalmologist for my 3.4 yrs old daughter for eye redness. He suggested Lotepred LS eye drops for 1 month. But I read that this is should not be used for age below 18 yrs. Please suggest whether to use this or not.

Can be used in more than one year old patient. It is a mild steroid  or we call soft steroid without much side affects. Can be used to bring down redness and itching . It should be not be used for more than a month. If symptoms persist when drop is stopped , your daughter might need non steroidal drops or ointment for long term.
