As beautifully explained by my colleague that flaoters are visually non significant
Regarding itching...its due to allergy to dust..
Preventive measures include
1. Avoid dust
2. Avoid rubbing
3. Cold compresses
4. Use mild antiallergic eyedrop along with lubricating eyedrop
5. Pulse dose of soft steroids if itching is severe

Floaters are normally not problematic. It is due to degeneration of vitreous fluid. But if u also have flashes of lights then consult an ophthalmologist. For itching and burning you can put lubricating eye drops.
