Eye problem
Hello doctor my mom is sugar patient from 10 years she is taking diapride 2mg medicine and also having BP for that she is taking Avas 10mg from this she is facing side effects eye problem please suggest some medication in replacement in this medicine

Usually sugar medicines won’t cause eye issues rather uncontrolled diabetes and hypertension can cause eye issues. So better to check lab values and make necessary changes in medicines. Once a year need to check retina as well
