Eye infection

Asked for Male, 23 Years

Its been 3 days something sore like developed in my left eye lid and the whole eye region is swollen. Really painful and suffering a lot. I have applied ice on the eye for couple of times and fresh water but no improvement. What should i do?

It seems to be stye. Styes are infection of Moll & zeis gland present in every body eye lids ,basically infected by staphylococci.styes are very painful swelling near the root of eye lashes, you need oral antibiotics&anti inflammatory tablet as well as antibiotic ointment to apply locally.Hot fomentation helps to some extent in styes.
