My left eye has power more than 8. Recently went to a doctor to get it checked. She told me I need to consult a ratina specialist. So could I have a hole in the retina? If so is it serious? What should I do to cure it?

If you are suspecting retinal hole which is not uncommon in high myopic,, please consult good retinal specialist who after proper retinal examination & fundus angiography ,he will do laser to seal retinal hole, it is outdoor procedure but it is urgent in case of retinal hole otherwise it may lead to retinal detachment.
