Extremely anxious in stressful situation
I tend to get extremely anxious when a stressful situation comes like - work pressure, ill health of a loved one, major fight with spouse etc. I get way too stressed, panicked and anxious. Many times it causes headache, nausea and feelings of panic attack. I notice that after few moments of this anxiety it almost gets out of my hands. Even if i tell myself its going to be ok or relax, I don't feel better. My stress stays in my mind throughout for days maybe till the problem persists. I feel blackout at times and sick. Is this a disease or normal anxiety?

Hi. The minute anxiety affects your life to the extent that you are unable to function and go about your daily life roles, that you are distressed or that your biological functions like sleep is disturbed.... The anxiety is no longer within normal limits of anxiety... It becomes an issue that requires an in depth assessment and evaluation. You also seem to have a lot of somatic symptoms of anxiety, which most people would find very Distressing. I'm glad you started talking about it. I want to reassure you that help is available and that you will come out stronger.
Next Steps
You need to get in touch with a psychiatrist and have a detailed discussion of the symptoms that you are facing. He will recommend therapy and medication( if the situation requires it).
