Suffering from knee pain and wanted to know whether this can be treated by acupuncture or not.
This knee pain is extreme some time..if she walks for more time or standing at one position then her legs start shaking.

Hello hello it's quite possible that she is suffering from mum osteoarthritis which is commonly because of the wearing out of the Synovial fluid leading to the pain..
I will suggest you to avoid using stairs and sitting down or keeping your legs folded which will aggravate the pain... yes you can go for Physiotherapy accupunture which may help depending on the grade of osteoarthritis

Acupuncture helps or not is questionable but there is no harm in trying.she needs to get her X ray knees to see the changes n accordingly should consult an ortho specialist.shaking of her leg may be due to over all weakness e to due to low hemoglobin or lack of diet containing protein.
