Liposuction just removes fat from under your skin. If you are over weight and having infertility your body had hormonal problems. Removing the fat surgically will not change the hormonal problems. You have to lose weight naturally if you want to correct hormonal problems. I would suggest you watch your diet and calories very closely. Eat no food other than what you cook yourself at home. Start with slow exercise that doesn't stress your joints. Move to higher intensity exercises as you start losing weight. Discuss with a gynaecologist if you have PCOD/PCOS. Try medical therapies for that. Liposuction is purely cosmetic. If your current lifestyle or hormonal problems persist you will regain weight again. However if u decide to combine an active lifestyle and healthy diet with liposuction, you can go for it. Warm regards. Dr. Rajdeep Mysore. Chirag Hospital Bangalore
