Excessive Vomiting
Dear Sir, she has taken excess medicines in one shot at night in angry condition i. e. Coxib 90 (8 tabs), Calcium (10 tabs), Ibrufen (4 tabs) and PCM (2 tabs). Now from tomarrow morning she can't able to take food or water, if taken she vomits after 10 - 15 minutes. Tomarrow she vomits for more than 20 times, today 5-6 times. So please suggest me what to do as she is residing in remote area. Also saliva is coming continously in her mouth which makes her spitting tendency.

She should be very dehydrated. Please contact the nearest Primary health centre or call ambulance so that they take her to a govt hospital atleast. If nothing is possible. Give emiset/ondansetron injection to stop the vomiting and after that give continuous ORS if she is capable of drinking. She has taken NSAID painkillers. Its mostly gastric irritation. Should subside. But as she is old and currently very dehydrated it can be life threatening without immediate management. Save her by correcting the dehydration.
