I am taking keraglo Eva tablet from last 10 days and using logihair shampoo. Whenever I do oiling hair fall is much much more. What should i do? Any other tablets/multi vitamins I need to take. I have started taking Uprise D3 also. Please help me, I am really scared and also confirm if I should do oiling or not.

Hairfall is not due to one single cause. There are many conditions which can cause extreme hair loss and thinning of hair on the scalp. So first and foremost we have to find the cause of hair fall with the help of detailed history and examination. Some of the common causes maybe nutritional deficiency, hormonal causes like androgenic alopecia also called pattern baldness, hypothyroidism, telogeun effluvium etc. Unless we find and treat the cause there is no point in giving non specific treatment. Also one should refrain from home remedies as it does not give any relief from hairfall. Oil and shampoos do not have any effect on hair growth as they are not absorbed in the skin. Please contact me using online consultation for proper examination diagnosis and treatment

This condition is called Telogen Effluvium. It's a reversible condition in which hair falls out after a stressful experience. The stress pushes large numbers of hair follicles into a resting phase. Within a few months, those hairs can fall out. Types of stress can include any hormonal issues like thyroid or any major illness like Covid. Once u start appropriate medications it takes approximately 3-5 months to start seeing any visible difference. U will know if the medication is working if ur hair loss reduces. Growth of hair will occur only post the cessation of hair loss. It's a reversible condition but needs to b treated to prevent further hair loss. Consult a Dermatologist
