Excessive dry skin

Asked for Female, 22 Years

So I've been diagnosed with mild to moderate acne scars and acne on my face. And I've been given some gel for my skin which makes my skin excessively dry that I can peel off my dead skin from my face. I just want to know that when you have excessively dry skin , how can you get rid of that dry and dead skin. Because it's too much and I can't get rid of them.
