Excessive daytime sleepiness
I am a medical graduate. I am taking Fluoxetine 20 mg once daily (around 11AM) for OCD spectrum disorder/compulsive masturbation.(daily masturbation with overthinking and anxiety) But I feel very lazy and have excessive daytime sleepiness and tiredness and dry eyes making me unable to study for my exams. Is there anyway to change the time of taking this drug ? otherwise it is effective for my OCD till now. But I want to be fresh in the daytime after waking up in the morning I feel my sleep was not proper even after 7 hrs of sleep. Can I stop.this.drug abruptly or I have to taper it gradually My Psychiatry Prescription is attached

Don’t stop the drugs abruptly. Consult the treating psychiatrist and discuss the matter of sedation or excessive sleep with the psychiatrist. U will have to work over your personality issues also apart from taking medicines. Relaxation exercises Exercises Pursue a hobby Breathing techniques Behaviour modification etc will help you apart from medicines.
