Excess of hair on face
Hello Doctor,
I have noticed several times that I see excess of thick hair on my face and body ,so I prefer waxing. When I consulted skin doctor he told me you have pcod problem but my periods are regular.Could u please let me know what is the problem.

Excess hair growth also known as hirsutism is one of the symptom of PCOS. You need to be investigated for further treatment plan. Get the following tests done- TSH , T3 and T4. FSH, LH, Prolactin level, serum testosterone. Also, an ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis is advisable.
