I have slipped disc problem from last few years due to which I keep on having some pain. During my last regular health checkup , my ESR level came out to be 115. The general physician suggested that it could be due to inflammation caused by slipped disc issue. Pls confirm if this could be the reason.

Physicians won’t have deep understanding of Orthopedic conditions and vice versa. Raised ESR can be due to multiple factors. ESR in isolation is not that helpful than serial measurements if the pathology is known. I am assuming that your physician has ruled out any causes of raised ESR from his point of view.
Next Steps
Visit an Orthopedic surgeon - rule out discitis which can be due to infection. Or any other musculoskeletal inflammation.
