My dad aged 45yrs has HB1AC -6.8 and mean glucose level of 148 He has ESR count-36 He recently had variations in sugar level from the time he had covid .. he is a post covid patient who was diagnosed positive and treated in Jan2021 Why is his ESR count so high now.. Is there any serious complication. And how to manage those

Esr increases in any Infection, inflammation and old age. This level is not so high so dont worry.
Next Steps
fasting and prandial sugars every month. HbA1c every 3 months. Diet modification required
