Eroding teeth by acidity
My father is around 62 years old and suffers from mild acidity and hypertension and is on constant medication. For some time his teeth has been eroding away. His dentist had done root canal and replaced with cap. But even the cap eroded and fell. His medication has not cured the acidity issue but he has no ulcer etc. ,. or other stomach issues. Gastroenterologist could not cure his acidity issues. Please advice whom should we talk to. Thanks!

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Acidity isn't something which needs rocket science. So please don't even doubt the competency of the gastroenterologist. Also, acid in stomach is very mild and cannot melt a cap. Please think. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
