Dear user, Epilepsy treatment depends upon the type of seizure. Initially medicines are given to control the seizures and if it is not controlled on medicine then patient should be investigated for epilepsy surgery. There is high probability of being seizure free with surgery if medicine doesn't work. Regards, Dr Amit Agarwal
