Epididymitis treatment

I daignosed with epididymitis then doctor prescribed me Ofloxacin for 7 days and lyser d for 7 days but there is no use..then He advised to do urine culture and sensitivity...it gives urine isolated with proteus mirabilis and it is sensitive to Ciprofloxacin,levofloxacin and trinutrofurantoin..then he gives cifran 500 for 15 days twice daily and zerodol sp for 5 days .still I have pain...but after using there is no burning sensation and pain when urinating...but still there is testicle pain...is after infection goes away it takes some time to pain goes away...?
