Enlarged tonsils
He'llo, I saw my tonsils was enlarged of left side and of the right side it was bit swalloen. I went to a ent doctor nearby she said it is a grade 3 tonsils and she provided me with Amoxicillin and iodine macbery gargle and septilin cough syrup. I have been on medication for last 23 days. I feel like it is not getting recovered. But what i observed is it is recovered a bit but i can see it moving down the throat. What could have happened? I am having no pain no swelling visible able to eat food properly. Not able to understand what could have happened? Could you please help and guide me. Thankyou.

If you don't have repeated pain or fever or difficulty in swallowing no treatment required Both tonsils size not necessarily have to be equal

If tonsils are grade three u need to get tonsillectomy done . Else u will have recurrent throat pain

Please do not take antibiotics for so long unless indicated. Kindly specify your current symptoms so that I can guide you accurately. If no symptoms are there at present there’s nothing to worry. Also share a pic of your tonsils if possible.
