Enlarged lymph node
My lymph nodes swelling from last few days and after taking antibiotics it has decreased in size...still to be sure i visited a oncologist.he says it might be tuberculosis and gave ct scan of neck and FNAC test..is FNAC necessary?and am i actually having tb?i dont have any symptoms rather than lymph node swelling.

Lymph node swellings are very common and they commonly occur secondary to acute infections. Usually unless lymph node swelling in increasing in size and more than 1cm in size no further investigation is required. In any case you can get a FNAC can avoid taking CT scan
