Engorgement and mastitis
Yesterday I suffered from engorgement, my left breast was hard, heavy, swollen and painful. I didn't have fever, but was feeling weak. Kept feeding my baby whole day and also expressed out remaining milk many times after doing hot oil massage. Today the breast is soft, pain is gone, and not so heavy, but still red. The redness seems to be increasing. Also, there's some white spot at the tip of the nipple. Will the redness go by it's own or I need to go to a doctor? My baby and I are in the process of weaning. Baby is 8 months old.

I think you are having breast abscess.Meet to gynaecologist and get examined by her.If pain and fever is not there means no need of drainage of abscess .After examination your doctor will decide.
