Endometrial thickness 13 mm
I had pain during menses and severe bleeding ,underwent ultrasound and the diagnosis is endometrial thickness 13 mm ,bulky uterus with thickened endometrium suggested for biopsy and Intramural fibroid of 29*36*37 mm anterior wall fibroid ? Is it dangerous?

Your fibroid is significantly large . If it is submucosal , bleeding will not stop even after harmonal treatment, If fibroid is not the cause, you can take 3 months harmonal treatment Just 10 days premenstrually for 3 months , you can tide over the bleeding crisis.

Hi this is not dangerous, since its thickened endometrium and owing to your age, an small biopsy will rule out major problems so after the biopsy you can take progesterone to treat the condition. There is no need of hysterectomy other wise. fibroid will shrink once you attain menopause
