Constantly feeling sad, feeling that nothing is going to be good in life, having repeated negative thoughts, being unable to concentrate on your work, crying often, being irritated, restlessness, sleep problems etc are all symptoms of depression and anxiety. This is common especially after a upsetting event like a love affair that doesn't materialize. Depression is a illness like any other and can be successfully treated with medication and therapy. It will help you slowly overcome this phase. Don't worry. This is treatable.
Next Steps
Consult a psychiatrist either online or in person for a detailed evaluation to start treatment that is best suited for you.
