My wife is in her tenth week of pregnancy and has had severe vomiting over last two weeks. Our usual doctor prescribed DOXINATE G (thrice a day) for a week and said that is the only safe drug to use. But yesterday night she had a severe bout of vomiting and had to be rushed to hospital and put on drips. The duty doctor there prescribed Emeset-4 for two weeks. Is Emeset-4 safe during pregnancy? Should we go back to Doxinate?
