Eleveted bilirubin levels
When I did a medical test as part of application for term plan, my application got rejected sayin bilirubin levels are high(Total -2.49, direct-0.6, indirect- 1.89). But when I consulted a doctor, he said it is fine as Sgpt and SGOT levels are normal. So I am confused as if it is normal why insurance application was rejected.

Dear Sir Raise in indirect bilirubin may be because of various reasons. From Gilberts syndrome to fatty liver. It may also be due to alcohol intake. If its Gilberts syndrome, nothing needs to be done further. So I would suggest you to get a consultation and share the reports.
