I have an elevated nail that looks to have some fungus that grows on it. There is a larger dent in the middle where one side is lifted and the other is not. I have had dry skin around the nail but it seems to hurt a lot because the nail bed is so thin. I file away the elevated parts to try and make it look more normal.

Hi Thanks for your query. You could be having some form of nail infection. Clinical photographs would have been helpful to suggest a diagnosis or remedy. You can either consult on private chat or show a nearby Dermatologist personally.
