Elevated liver enzymes
I am dealing with kidney stones - having surgery March 9. I have been prescribed 800mg ibuprofen. I have been sick for over a week with what they think is the flu. On 2/14 levels were:AST 103 ALT 158 Alkaline phosphate 109. On 2/21 they were:AST 135 ALT 182 Alkaline phosphate 126. They also said my potassium is low. I do not have a gallbladder and had an ultrasound that came back normal. I am obese and am working on that. I feel as if it’s just fatty tissue. Any advice?

There is an acute pathology and chronic pathology in your system. You must be having subclinical or overt PCOD. Random blood glucose and ultrasound whole abdmen testing may be required to understand your condition. Your dietary changes may help. Add black salt, lemon, leafy coriander and raw onions to improve the functions of liver and kidneys. Avoid cold drinks and cold water intake. Avoid high protein diets of large size.

In my opinion, instead of ibuprofen, you must just simply take paracetamol in appropriate doses for faster recovery. For the rest information, you can contact further for detailed history. Reports are ok.You need not worry on that very much.
