EIF and CPC found in TIFFA scan
Hello Doctor,my wife had TIFFA scan in 19th week,and found 2 things 1. intra cardiac echogenic focus seen in left ventricle   2.small choroid plexus in right later ventrcle mesuring 4.3mm.Now my doctor is telling that since both of these presence are symptoms of down syndrom and go and meet feetal medicine  specialist.unfortunately we got appointment for next week and we are worried about it.Now she is 19 week 2 days pregnant and she is of 24 years old .In NT scan and double marker test everything was fine and PAPPA is 2.49 and FREE BHCG is 32.10 nasal bone is 1.7mm and NT is 1.6mm and normal ,that time doctor told everything is fine,now in TIFFA scan doctor is suspecting symptom of downsyndrom since both of them are present ,Could you please help us what to do in this situation.
