Effects of this steroid medicine
My dog was on this medication for 45days to treat skin infection. I suddenly came to know that this is a steroid. Does this effect on rabies antibody titer for 45 days medication. Or antibody will regenerate once medicine stops. His due date of arv is in july.

Steroids will not reduce the level of already produced antibodies but will reduce its production during the course of it's treatment but it's affect is short lived so if it is stopped a few weeks before july then there will be no issues

Steroid will not specifically reduce rabies antibodies. Under normal dose for specific conditions, they are lifesaver. Over dose can cause immunosuppressive changes in the body. So, the human or pet will be prone to infections. You can give the boosters on the specific due date itself.
