My mother had hypercalcemia post covid.
Kidney biopsy showed ATIN. No abnormal band in immunofixation SPEP. Lymph nodes sabcarinal, hillar in PET scan and CT scan. Lung biopsy showed negative TB. Doctor diagnosed her with sarcoidosis as ace level was high. She is on dexa steroid and have develeoped swelling in face and in legs. Protein is 5.8 and
albumin 2.8.
Calcium reduced to 7.5 now and platelets suddenly raised to 388. Although no granuloma was resulted in lung biopsy but doctor diagnosed her with sarcoidosis due to raised ace level. Is there any further test I need and hot to eliminate the swelling caused in her legs.
