Ectopic pregnancy

Asked for Female, 28 Years

Hello doctor, I have been diagnosed with right side tubal pregnancy. I have taken 1st dose of methotrexate during 5th week my initial HCG levels was 250 after the 1st dose it raised to 500 . I have again taken another dose am worrying about the increased HCG is it normal or there is some issue ? I will get my beta HCG check today . Can you please suggest if there are any risk .

initial rise within 1st 4 days in hcg is seen becoz of troblast destruction with methotrexate. repeat hcg would surely have fallen values. remain in touch with doctor for proper management.
