Ear Pain and Infection

Asked for Male, 23 Years

I have severe ear pain in right ear since 4 days now. I recently had a root canal operation on my front tooth 1 week back post which the ear pain suddenly started. The dentist said it's due to some other reason most likely. I consulted a general physician 2 day back and she prescribed antibiotics for 5 days and some painkillers. I see no improvement after 2 days yet.

There is a phenomenon called refered otalgia . Pain in teeth can be perceived as pain in ear. But better to go to a Ent surgeon for Examination
