Ear pain after scuba diving
I went scuba diving and when I surfaced it felt like my ear was full of water but I had no problems equalizing during the dive. It really started hurting so I went to urgent care. There they told me that my ear drum looked red and that they couldn't see a perforation but there was a defect that could possibly be a small hole. He put me on antibiotics and Sudafed twice a day. It's getting better but hurts when I blow while pinching my nose. I will be flying in two days. Do you think it is safe?

You seem to have developed eustachian tube dysfunction secondary to barotrauma which common occurs when you do scuba diving. Usually treatment is symptomatic and recovery occurs within few days. You can take symptomatic over the counter analgesics of pain is severe
Next Steps
