Hi,
Both my ears got blocked due to pressure while scuba diving. Seems while equalising pressure under water it didn't go well. After coming out of water my spit had blood and ears blocked with pain. Instructor told me that it will be fine in some hours but now its been 2 days still ears are blocked. Went to ENT Dr , she checked and said ears are blocked due to blood. She gave Cefdinir 600mg, Sinarest, and Otrinoz nasal drops. I am not sure when my ears will open up and the blood in middle ear gets drained. Is this a concern as both the medicines above are not directly related to cleaning the middle ear. I am worried. Please guide.
Regards,
Paresh.

Trust your doctor and use the medicines as advised. However, if you do not get relief after 48 hours, please get back to your doctor as you may need a Eustachian Tuboplasty to drain the middle ear.
