Ear Drum Rupture
I had a middle ear infection about three weeks ago and was given amoxicillin to take for ten days. About 4 days later after being in excruciating pain my ear drum burst. Since then my ear has been clogged but seemed to be gradually getting better. However, about two days ago it felt more full than before and I have had on and off throbbing pain and itchingalthough nothing compared to the pain I was in before with the middle ear infection. Is this the healing process or should I see an ENT?

You seem to have had acute suppurative otitis media which is a common type of acute Middle ear infection. Usually during recovery it is common to see some fluid collection in the middle ear for few weeks which presents as persistent blocking sensation and mild pain. Usually it will recover spontaneously
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
