Ear congestion
For the past week, I've had a virus and trying to get better from it. The virus caused a head cold so there is a lot of congestion. Earlier today, my left ear popped from all the congestion and I can't hear from that ear anymore. Should I leave it alone or should I put something like drops in my ear to fix it?

Do not put ear drops if there has been a pop after which ur ear started having pus discharge. Get your nose checked and ear examined for the perforation. Drops will make the perforation less likely to heal. However if the pus in the ear does not stop then drops will have to be used and perforation will have to be closed surgically after the ear gets dry for a few weeks

You seem to be suffering from eustachian tube dysfunction which usually occurs secondary to common cold. It usually resolves spontaneously after few days. You can use decongestant medicines for few days for faster recovery
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
